“O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.” -Isaiah 25:1
Month in Review
In November, we asked for prayers for our travels to Thailand. As you may have heard by now, we have made it and are on day 10/16 for our state quarantine. Ross’ visa came JUST IN TIME before our flight on December 10. Praise God! We made it across the world during a pandemic with no issues at all with our paperwork, COVID test, or entry into Thailand. After speaking to multiple people trying to travel at the moment, this was a huge blessing. God has truly gone before us to pave the way.
We asked for prayers on establishing residency in Chiang Mai. Although some things won’t be established until we actually arrive in Chiang Mai, God has answered our prayers and has provided a home for us to live and options for transportation. Praise God for the body of believers who have already reached out to us before arriving there.
Our last prayer request was for the adjustment to overseas living and being away from family during the holidays. We will still be in quarantine on Christmas Day but praise God we are done on the 27th of December. We miss our community deeply and wish we could celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior with you all more than you know.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” –1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
The Journey Ahead
We are asking for prayer as we start serving with CCF and FCF on January 4. We are so excited to be here in Thailand and can’t wait to see what God has in store for us. Will you pray we follow where he tells us to go and where we can serve the community to the fullest?
We are always seeking and praying for Gospel opportunities. Please pray with us to have eyes to see, ears to hear, and feet to go where He wants us to.
Last but not least, we are asking for you to pray for our transition to overseas living, serving together, and being teammates in all things. The enemy doesn’t want us here and makes it apparent in very tangible ways. Please pray we keep our eyes focused on Him and being salt and light to fellow believers and to people who don’t know Him.
