Chiang Mai, Thailand!

Our initial commitment was to serve from January through April 2021. After a sequence of unexpected, God-led events…Chiang Mai is our home now! We will continue serving until God leads otherwise!

Overview

Eirenee’ paved the way for us after serving as a missionary in Chiang Mai in 2019. She was a homeschool teacher and attended Chiang Mai Christian Fellowship Church (CCF). The relationships she built were instrumental to our family returning together to Chiang Mai in Jan 2021. Over the past two years we have been so blessed to serve in several different capacities. Highlighted below are some of those ways outside of FBR.

Ross

  • Intern, CCF (Jan – Jun 2021)
  • Intern, FCF (Jan – Mar 2021)
  • Volunteer Consultant, Lift International (Mar – Jun 2021)
  • CCF Executive Pastor (Jun 2021 – Dec 2022)

Eirenee'

  • Social Media and Communications Coordinator, FCF (Jan – Jun 2021)
  • Youth Ministry Director, CCF (Jul 2021 – Jun 2022)

We are so thankful for the church family God has given us in CCF. Though we are no longer on staff we are thankful to remain part of this church family.

History Serving with FBR

We began serving as part-time volunteers with the Free Burma Rangers (FBR) in July 2021. FBR is a very unique organization that has been powerfully working to free the oppressed within Burma for the last 25 years. Our team at FBR is an amazing group of people with hearts for Jesus and a passion for freedom.

Since the beginning Ross has served as the medical supply coordinator, working to procure medical supplies and equipment for jungle clinics and missions. Eirenee’ has joined Ross at times and also worked to develop children’s curriculum for several ethnic camps and villages along with developing and teaching English as a Second Language.

We transitioned to serving as full-time volunteers with FBR in October 2022. We continue in our previous roles while expanding to some new areas.

Ross is also now a chaplain and leading the Chaplain Department. The Chaplain Department has three priorities: caring for people by pointing to Jesus Christ, sharing the gospel and gospel-centered resources, and preparing and training others to make disciples who make disciples.

Eirenee’ is also now working to coordinate education and supplies for the Jungle School of Medicine students and staff as the JSMK Support Coordinator.

We are thankful for how God has prepared us along the way to serve full-time with FBR! God has brought us to a place in life where we are filled with great purpose, peace, and passion. To God be all the glory for this answered prayer!
