Chiang Mai, Thailand!

Our initial commitment is to serve from January through April 2021. After a sequence of unexpected, God-led events…we have committed to serving through 2021!

Overview

Eirenee’ paved the way for us after serving as a missionary in Chiang Mai in 2019. She attended Chiang Mai Christian Fellowship (CCF) and built relationships with many others in Chiang Mai.

We have enjoyed serving in our local church since arrival. Ross was on staff as a part-time pastoral intern. Eirenee’ joined the worship team as one of the rotational worship leaders.

We also served part-time at the Family Connection Foundation (FCF). Ross was an intern and volunteer consultant for Lift International.  Eirenee’ served as the Social Media and Communications Coordinator.

Our amazing experience serving with FCF came to a close in June 2021. We were so blessed by the people and their ministries! There remain many opportunities to serve with FCF and we are excited to see how God leads us in the future. For now, our vision is to continue to expand our understanding and experience serving in different capacities here in Thailand.

So…since July of 2021 we have transitioned in all of our roles!

We are serving as volunteers on the CCF staff.

  • Ross is the church’s Executive Pastor. Ross’ new role will be very similar to the intern duties he carved out – focusing on organizational development, daily operations, and coordinating various church ministries.
  • Eirenee‘ is the church’s Youth Ministry Director, leading the youth ministry with middle school and high school students – building relationships, sherpherding their growth, and overseeing events.
We are serving as volunteers with the Free Burma Rangers (FBR).

  • FBR is a very unique organization that has been powerfully working to free the oppressed within Burma for the last 20 years. The members of FBR are amazing people with hearts for Jesus and a passion for freedom.
  • Ross is serving in the medical supply department. Eirenee’ is serving to develop children’s curriculum for several ethnic camps and villages.

Our prayer is that by the summer of 2022 we would have clarity from God on where we can best serve for His glory for a longer term. Would you join us in this prayer?
